Whitney Dean cuts ties with Johnny

Johnny Carter is left disappointed next week as Whitney Dean ends their friendship.

The pair's close bond becomes strained after they have a misunderstanding during Lauren Branning's birthday party.

Lauren's celebration takes place at Sharon Rickman's new bar, as Johnny (Sam Strike) offers it up as a private party venue after landing a job there.

The night initially goes well, but when Peter Beale manages to upset Whitney (Shona McGarty), she allows her feelings for Johnny to come to the surface again and kisses him.

Although the pair later try to fix their friendship, it's clear that Whitney will always want more from Johnny, despite knowing that he is gay.

When Whitney takes on board some advice from Johnny's aunt Tina, she leaves him crushed by insisting that they can't be friends anymore.

Whitney isn't the only Albert Square resident giving Johnny a hard time, as he also has to face Sharon's wrath when she finds out about the secret party at her bar.

When Sharon (Letitia Dean) fires Johnny for his betrayal, he is left with a tough task on his hands to win back her trust.

EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 3 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Denise's Plan

Denise Fox takes action when she becomes suspicious over the close bond that her fiancé Ian Beale still shares with his ex-wife Jane.

Wanting to see if she has anything to worry about, Denise (Diane Parish) decides to invite Jane (Laurie Brett) along to a dinner party that she is hosting at the Beale house.

Denise teams up with Shabnam Masood for the plan, inviting Masood Ahmed (Nitin Ganatra) along to the meal too.

On face value, it seems that Denise and Shabnam are both united with an aim to keep Jane's attention on Masood - but Denise doesn't realise that scheming Shabnam may have plans of her own.

Later, Denise is furious as the dinner doesn't go the way she had planned. To her frustration, Jane and Ian (Adam Woodyatt) warmly reminisce over their past - and Shabnam (Rakhee Thakrar) does her best to encourage the situation.

Once they're left alone for a moment, Ian also seems to have more than friendship on his mind when he asks Jane whether she still thinks about him recently attempting to kiss her.

As the evening continues, Denise slowly realises that Shabnam's true intentions were to push Jane away from Masood and closer to Ian.

Things look up for Denise when Jane kisses Masood - but is she just doing this to prove a point to Shabnam and Ian, or does she really have feelings for Masood?
EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 3 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Stacey to make another big decision

Stacey Branning has another important decision to make on EastEnders next week in the aftermath of Janine Butcher's murder trial.

Viewers have been wondering what the future holds for Stacey (Lacey Turner) after a jury found Janine not guilty in Thursday night's episode.

In the next visit to Walford on Monday (March 24), it's revealed that Janine has kept her promise to Kat Moon by dropping her false claims about being stabbed by Stacey.

The news means that Stacey can be on Albert Square without having to hide herself away, but as she comes face-to-face with many of its residents, not all of them give her a warm welcome back.

Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons) is particularly unhappy as she is still unable to forgive Stacey for killing Archie.
A busy day for Stacey sees her attempt to make things right between Bianca (Patsy Palmer) and Kat after they fall out over the lies that Kat told about Alice.

Stacey also clears things up with her ex-lover Max (Jake Wood), making it clear that they'll only ever be friends despite their recent kiss.
Next on Stacey's list of people to see is Dot Branning (June Brown) and when the pair have a heart-to-heart, it hits home to Stacey that her late husband Bradley has had to pay for her sins.

Haunted by her mistakes, Stacey begins to wonder whether she can really stay on the Square and makes a big decision. What will she do?

EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday (March 24) at 8pm on BBC One.

Jail Fear for Kat Moon!

Kat Moon has some bad news for her family on EastEnders next week as she reveals that she could be facing a prison sentence.

Thursday night's episode saw Kat (Jessie Wallace) land herself in trouble with the authorities as she was caught out for giving false evidence at Janine Butcher's murder trial.

When Kat returns from the police station and catches up with her loved ones, she reveals that she could be sent to jail for perjury.

With so much drama going on at home, Kat's nervous partner Alfie (Shane Richie) hopes that he can hide what happened with his burger van.

Viewers saw Alfie's Australian visitor Nicole drive away with the vehicle earlier this week as she sought repayment following his attempt to con her.

Unfortunately for Alfie, he is soon caught out by Kat and is forced to come clean about what happened. How will Kat react to what Alfie has been up to?

EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday (March 24) at 8pm on BBC One.
